    In 2002, the pharmaceutical chemist businesswoman Martha Cardona establishes the idea of what later would become Samara Cosmetics. It all starts with the creation of one of the first capillary treatments with duck embryo, which she designs, produces and sells to hairdressers in Medellin city.

    In 2004 thanks to the excellent reception it is created the company Mawie products, under this first name she sold two main products Laca and Duck Embryo Hair Treatment which were done in different laboratories in the form of outsourcing.     In 2014 SAMARA has consolidate a good name in the local marked by the excellence of its products and quality service also launches its ultragrowth line under the brand Isabely.

    In 2015 the logo is renewed and the launch of the new image of the brand Mawie.
